The website, metallicaxx.com, launched on Monday, October 7th. The site consists of a black background and a countdown clock.
A few theories about the significance of the countdown have emerged; anything from a festival tour announcement to a new album.
Or, the most specific theory: S&M2 will be on streaming sites, which would make sense, being the countdown is set to expire on Thursday, October 10th at 12PM ET/11AM CT, just a day after the film will be in select theaters across the country to celebrate the anniversary of S&M.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until Thursday to find out…
