Future Rockers of Omaha Announces Full Lineup for the 2nd Annual Future of Rock Festival

The Future Rockers of Omaha Foundation is proud to announce the official lineup for the 2nd Annual Future of Rock Festival, returning to Granary Green in Ralston on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Built around a simple idea, that young musicians deserve real stages, real crowds, and real momentum, the Future of Rock Festival puts teen-led bands front and center for an all-day celebration of local music. Every opening act throughout the day is youth-led or tied to a local music education program, giving the next generation of Omaha artists a platform to perform, connect, and grow in front of their community.

This year’s lineup features Anxiety, Midusa, Ugly Lotus, Garlick, Make Believe Residency, Blackbird Rock Company, and the School of Rock Omaha House Band, with special guest Grunge Pop closing out the evening. In a highlight unique to this festival, members from each participating band will take turns joining Grunge Pop on stage for a cross-band collaboration finale, giving young musicians a one-of-a-kind performance experience they can’t get anywhere else.

Beyond the music, the festival is a family-friendly, all-ages event with local vendors, food trucks, outdoor games, and activities throughout the day. It’s designed to be a place where kids in the crowd can see musicians not much older than them owning the stage, and maybe decide they want to be next.

Proceeds from the festival support the Future Rockers of Omaha Foundation’s tuition and tour-assistance funds, helping to improve access to music education and performance opportunities for young people who need it most.

On April 8, the foundation will host “Breaking Into the Scene” — a free live panel back at the B-Side Bar featuring voices from across the local music industry. A separate announcement with full details on the panel, including confirmed panelists and how to attend, will be released soon.
